JK Advanced Mastopexy

JK Advanced Mastopexy is an innovative plastic surgery whose main objective is to correct sagging breasts (breast ptosis), repositioning the breasts and restoring the desired firmness and contour. Breast ptosis can occur for a variety of reasons, such as aging, sagging after breastfeeding, significant weight loss or genetic predisposition.
In the JK technique, we perform the Internal Bra and Muscle Strap method to ensure greater support and better positioning of the breasts.
We also apply Dermabond Surgical Glue or use vacuum dressing for precise and aesthetic closure of the incision (scar), in addition to reducing the risk of infections.
JK Advanced Mastopexy can be performed with or without the use of breast implants, depending on the patient's needs and desires.

Mastopexy with Prosthesis
Recommended for patients who wish to correct sagging skin, create a more defined cleavage and project their breasts.

Mastopexy without Prosthesis
Recommended for patients who simply want to correct sagging skin, with natural results.
It can be associated with the Breast Lipografting technique.
Advanced Techniques and Types of Scars (Incisions)
There are several techniques for performing Mastopexy, depending on the specific needs of each patient, and each one results in a different type of scar. The choice of incision type is determined based on the degree of sagging of the breasts and the desired aesthetic result.
Periareolar (circular) incision: Performed around the areola, this incision is indicated for mild corrections of breast ptosis and is ideal for patients who do not require major adjustments to the shape or volume of their breasts.
Vertical Incision: This technique is used when there is a moderate degree of sagging, with the incision being made around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease. The scar, although visible, is more discreet than that of the inverted T type.
Inverted T (anchor) incision: The most common technique for more severe breast ptosis. The incision is made around the areola, vertically to the breast crease and horizontally along the breast crease. Although larger, it is the best for effectively repositioning the breast, removing excess skin and providing a better contour.
Reduced T Incision (Short Scar): A more modern and less invasive version of the inverted T technique. Reduced T offers the same efficiency as the classic technique, but with smaller scars. The incision is limited to the areola and breast crease, resulting in smaller scars.
L-shaped scar: Used for specific cases of sagging and remodeling, with the incision in the shape of an "L". This type of scar is smaller than the inverted T and is indicated for some types of cases.
