JK Cystocele Correction

Genital prolapse is a condition in which pelvic organs, such as the bladder, rectum, intestine, urethra and even the uterus, move into the vagina. This occurs due to the weakening of the pelvic floor muscles, which lose their ability to support the organs. Among the most common conditions related to genital prolapse are Cystocele, Rectocele and Perineal Rupture, which can affect both the physical well-being and self-esteem of women.

JK Technique: Laser Correction and Vaginal Repair

The JK technique uses the Duoglide Co2 laser to treat genital prolapse, including the correction of Cystocele, Rectocele and Perineal Rupture. The treatment is performed in a minimally invasive manner, through laser retraction of the upper and lower vaginal mucosa, allowing the repositioning of the affected organs.

After

Cystocele (bladder prolapse) correction: Retraction of the anterior vaginal wall is performed to fix the bladder in its correct position.

Correction of Rectocele (prolapse of the rectum): The lower vaginal wall is treated to reposition the rectum and restore the functionality of the region.

Perineoplasty: The procedure may include correction of the perineal muscles, with absorbable sutures, promoting narrowing of the vaginal region and restoring the firmness of the perineum.

After the procedure, laser opening can be performed to remove excess skin from the perineum and suture the muscles to tighten the perineum, restoring its function and structure.
