JK Cervicoplasty

JK Cervicoplasty or JK Cervical Lift is a surgery that seeks to correct sagging neck and improve the contour of the cervical region. It is especially indicated for patients who show signs of aging in the neck, such as the formation of a double chin, wrinkles, or loss of muscle tone and skin elasticity.
The procedure involves removing excess skin and fat, as well as correcting the neck muscles to restore firmness to the area. The surgery is performed through strategic incisions, with discreet scars, which ensures natural and discreet results.
The technique is performed carefully, with the aim of minimizing scars and ensuring natural results. The procedure usually involves an incision made in front of the ear, along the natural fold of the skin, which helps to disguise the scar. From there, excess skin is removed from the area.
There is also correction of the neck muscles, performed with a second incision made just below the chin groove, allowing the repositioning and suturing of the neck muscles (platysma), correcting muscle flaccidity and repositioning the tissues in a firmer manner.
At the back, the scar follows the natural line behind the ear, creating a harmonious and discreet contour.
