Omphaloplasty

Omphaloplasty is a cosmetic surgery that aims to correct or improve the appearance of the belly button. It can be performed to treat changes in the shape or position of the belly button, such as a "bulging" or "inverted" belly button, or deformities caused by pregnancy, weight loss, or other conditions. Surgery may involve removing excess tissue or reshaping the belly button so that it has a more aesthetic shape that is harmonious with the rest of the abdominal region.

This procedure can be performed alone or in combination with other surgeries, such as abdominoplasty, to further improve the abdominal contour.

Care Before:

Have a medical consultation, pre-operative exams, stop taking medication, smoking and alcohol.

Aftercare:

Rest, use of a shaping belt, care for scars, medical monitoring and avoiding pressure on the operated area.
